Most of J.S. Bach’s works – such as the cantatas and the passions – have a liturgical function and yet only on rare occasions can we listen to them within the context for which they were created. The last activity included in BACHCELONA consists in offering one cantata as part of the liturgy offered in the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar.
